PoE 3.6 Duelist Slayer Melee Builds with Blade Flurry, Flicker Strike, Heavy Strike

The Poe Duelist Slayer course concentrates on raw electrical power and sustaining sustainability since they combat. They possess bonuses to daily life leech and stun and passives, for example, Bane of Legends provides them an edge from harder monsters. Due to the small nodes all acquiring improved attack pace and two-handed harm bonuses, this course is well suited for attack skills for two-handed weapons and bows.

[Poe 3.6 Blade Flurry Build] Very few map mods you cannot do The Bringer of Leech (3/6/19 UPDATE) League Starter

This is a genuinely budget build that will get you deep into maps on self-found gear, which you will then be able to fill out your atlas. The build only really has two required uniques that are affordable off self-found Poe currency early in a league and incredibly cheap later in a league. The bottom two lines are most important: In half a second we will be leeching 3,458 life per second at a life pool of almost 6,000 life. This will be instant because of Bloodseeker, but also since we use a rare claw that will leech regularly these effects will not end if we stop attacking. Credit for this goes out to McPeenSauce who realized he did not feel as tanky after switching from Bringer of Rain to a 6L Belly of the Beast and rare helm. So BoR has been buffed for 3.5, so it looks like it’s not even worth it to save up and buy a six linked Belly of the Beast. With a Belly, you gain 300–500 life, but you lose a ton of survivability that the blind, block and endurance charges BoR provides. Poe 3.6 Prediction: BoR was MUCH cheaper at Betrayal league start, I’ve always seen it around 30–40c, but that league it was five chaos orb day 1 and 1c by day 2.

3.6 Path of Building for the budget version
1. 2 Required uniques: Bringer of Rain & Bloodseeker. Both Are Cheap!
2. On practically no investment you can complete Uber Lab and any tier map + most map mods.
3. Use your PoE currency to fill out the atlas and fund your next build, or with 2–3 Exalted orb investment, you can farm Guardians, Shaper, and Elder.
4. Tanky! Should only die to one-shots. 6 pieces of rare gear to stack health + over 200% increased life from the tree!
5. TONS of potential to min/max if you want to pump currency into it.

Pros:
+ Insta-Leech + Leech over time = more than living your life pool leeched per second.
+ Immune to Bleed while leeching
+ Only 2 required unique items
+ Cheap! You don’t have to grind-farm to gear up. The currency you collect and gear you sell while you level and begin to fill out your atlas will pay for required uniques!
+ 20% culling strike with tons of DPS for easy boss killing
+ Very few map mods you cannot do

Cons:
- You have to be right up on dangerous bosses, and it’s a melee build after all.
- Don’t dodge one shot = you die.
- Can’t do Phys reflect before taking Headsman Ascendancy.
- Can’t do No leech maps
- No regen/slower regen maps are lazy because you can’t spam Whirling Blades.
- Int requirements will either cost you a passive point or two unless you can get it on gear.

[Poe 3.6 Flicker Strike Build] Vaal Pact+Brutal Fervour (overreach) is broken Infinite Blazing Flicker Strike Slayer

This build has an effortless way of playing. You just run/Leap Slam around the map until you see a mob of enemies and hold down your Flicker Strike button. Let Flicker Strike do all of the work for you. I would recommend you still keep your cursor in the direction or on enemies so you can ‘somewhat’ control the general direction of where you want your Flicker Strike to go. There may be some situations where you do not want to hold down your Flicker Strike. With the nature of Flicker Strike and how crazy it is, it may target things that you do not wish to. This is why you want to try to keep track of your cursor while you flicker.
In 3.6, Slayer has had some notable reworks, such as losing his 20% increased damage while leeching and instead of changing it to 30% increased area of Effect if you’ve Killed Recently. He also 50% reduced Maximum Recovery per Life Leech. Though this hurts, over-leech is still broken regardless. We can remedy this problem a bit more with getting more life, which we already have a crap ton of and especially so if you use Kaom’s Heart. Do not be too discouraged. The build still works as intended even with this nerf. The build remains dumb cheap, and we have one of the best if not best and reliable ways to generate Frenzy charges and sustain

Pros:
+ INSANE clearspeed
+ Vaal Pact+Brutal Fervour (over leech) is broken
+ Tankiness (survivability from Slayer’s passives and Vaal Pact keep us healthy and surviving)
+ Extremely budget friendly (only uses two required uniques which cost less than chaos each)
+ 100% hit chance without Lycosidae (by taking Resolute Technique)
+ Can do all content in the game (some material may be more difficult just because of the nature of Flicker Strike and because we only deal elemental damage)
+ Able to face-tank with Flicker Strike until all our enemies are dead
+ Permanent stun/chill/freeze immunity
+ Reliable Frenzy Charge generation and sustain (Flicker Strike forever!)
+ 6K+ life by grabbing life on gear and following the skill tree
+ 90%+ ignite chance to ensure we generate Frenzy Charges every time we Flicker Strike (possibly 100% if you get chance to ignite on jewels)

Cons:
- NOT a league starter but possible (reason being is because Oro’s Sacrifice is a required item for the build which can only be used at level 67)
- Melee build so we need to stay close to enemies
- Cannot run any leech/elemental reflect map mods (some other map mods can be a bit annoying but still possible)
- Terrible for delves (it is possible, but an extreme headache since Flicker Strike can put you in places you do not want such as behind a wall where the darkness will wreck you)
- Screen seizures (some people cannot handle the screen shaking with the nature of Flicker Strike being as fast as it is)

[Poe 3.6 Heavy Strike Build] 7.7k+ life and 2.5M+ Shaper DPS Stun-locks everything Build

Overall the build is slightly nerfed in this patch. However, new league experience may have been improved, as I expect a much lower price on life and attack based gears.
The bad news:
1. Hatred goes from 36% added damage to 25% added damage and 18% more cold damage. We lose around 5% DPS due to this change. The real Phys version won’t be affected.
2. Slayer is getting a nerf; the leech instances will last a maximum of 5 seconds. This does not change the Berserker and Ascendant version.
3. Tombfist is nerfed, and no more extended grants attack speed. This does not affect the Ascendant version.

The good news:
1. Curses will have higher effects against endgame bosses from 40% and 20% to 67% and 34%. This is a minor buff to the mixed damage version and a greater buff to the pure damage version.
2. Blood Rage and Enduring Cry now have a lower mana cost.
3. Ground Slam now affects a maximum of 40 targets instead of 20

Pros:
+ Stun-locks everything
+ Solid offense and defense
+ Works well on a budget
+ Easy new league Uber Lab farming.
+ Hardcore was viable.
+ Some ascendancies, gears, and gems to choose from.

Cons:
- Precise speed and mobility can be pretty good but not top tier.
- Boss fights with multiple targets or has stun immunity (Uber Elder, Vaal Temple, Phoenix) cannot be face-rolled brainlessly. (You will need to use some brain to do these fights.)
- Rely on leeching and stunning, so it’s dangerous to play while lagging.
- Weapon or gem swap is needed for maximum performance.
