The next episode of The Last of Us’s television adaptation will be released out of HBO’s official schedule. This is because, next Sunday (12), there is the 57th edition of Super Bowl, an event that marks the end of the season of the Football League (NFL).

Being one of the most anticipated sporting events all over the world because of the expected interval show which, this time, will feature Rihanna’s return to the stage-HBO made the decision to move the fifth episode debut to Friday Fair (10), at 23h (asília time). The episode, however, will be available in advance only through the HBO MAX application. In the television grid, episode 5 will still pass on Sunday’s usual time, if viewers do not call football or Rihanna’s most anticipated show in years. See then the episode teaser: If someone wants to stay true to the original programming, it is good to be careful with spoilers who will be on social networks after the episode is released on streaming.

The series, with the names Craig Main (Chernobyl) and Neil Luckmann (co-director of the original game) as responsible for the script, is about 20 years after the outeak caused by the mutation of the Codices fungus. As in the game, the series follows Joel’s saga and Ellie as they cross the United States, each with its own individual goals. The production is shown on Sundays, 23h (asília time), the HBO closed channel or the HBO Max application.
