When you have a base pot of FIFA 20 coins

So, after you have sold your opening pack you will have a little cash, maybe 1500 FIFA 20 Coins to play with, (non-returning users, just play a couple of offline games with the bronze players provided to get you to this level). To start off with, it is best to go for very small outlays, and in return small profits. The important thing in FIFA FUT trading is to get small regular profits rather than aim for the really big ones straight away (with big profits also brings the risk of big losses, which at early stages is catastrophic), so with this in mind, there are 2 effective approaches to maximize your profits.

1. Contracts
This is a very easy and risk-free method, profits are modest too, all you need to do is search for gold contracts, with a buy now of the lowest available price. The easiest way of doing this is to start at 200 BIN price and keep going up until you get a hit, if you search and there are pages and pages of active results which are not selling immediately, you will know you have gone too far. We normally find at 250 and we’ll return 4 to 5 results, but please note, it’s worth remembering with all trades, that times of day affect the prices of cards and players, at peak times there are more cards and more buyers on the market so this means a common card or player can be bought for less than normal, but a rarer or more expensive card cannot. Now, to win these 250 contracts you are going to have to be very quick on the buttons, they normally are only on the market for 5 to 10 seconds before they are bought up, especially during peak hours. During the off-peak hours, it becomes a little easier and you might get 30 seconds or even 1 minute to react. If all the cards are purchased before you win one, just back out of the screen and do a new search a few moments later. So, once you have won enough of these contracts you should send them all to your transfer list. If you have bought for 250 then you should put them with a start price of 250 or 300 and a buy now of 350, like we said a modest profit, of under 100 coins but one that always works primarily because contracts are the most in-demand card in the game, and nobody can play without them. So, once you have placed your card up for sale, play a couple of games and wait for them to sell. As we mentioned contracts are a fundamental part of FUT and people can’t play games without them so there is always demand. This is the reason that contracts will stay popular right until the next release of the FIFA series so the vast majority of times they will sell and more importantly, they will sell quickly. This method can accumulate you some coins surprisingly quickly, but it is important not to lower your price, and always have your start price more than the price you paid, to eliminate the risk of making a loss.

2. The Gold Discard Method.
This is another low risk, low reward strategy, but basically, this is a no-risk strategy because if you do it correctly, you cannot make a loss. Now what you need to realize and understand for this method, is that all cards have a discarded value in the game, and to make use of this, you need to buy the card for less than the discard value and then discard it, leaving you your profit. Now, this is also easier to assess your profit because you pay no EA TAX on discards, so the figure shown is the figure you will receive. The most common and best way to do this is with gold players, a non-rare gold card will have a minimum discard value of 300 and a rare gold card 600. So what you need to do is do a gold player search with either a maximum price of 250 or 550 and pick the bids you would like to put on. Now when you are doing this you have to look for the worst players available, there is no point bidding 600 coins on a player like Aguero or Suarez because we GUARANTEE you will be outbid every single time. Look for the players that will attract the least attention and are generally pretty poor players, whilst still holding the discard value you are looking for. With this method, you will find a lot more success at off-peak times, as there are a lot fewer people doing it, so you would just go through the player search and put the bids on until you have used up your cash, you will get outbid quite frequently on this method but don’t be perturbed, just move onto the next one, once you have been outbid there is no point returning to that card, as it will no longer be under discard value. One final point on this method, always bid the increment under the discard value i.e. if it is 300 discard price bid 250, a 150 or 200 bid will rarely if ever be successful. So once you have won your items, simply discard straight away and you have your instant profit. You can repeat this process as much as you want, it can be somewhat boring but gives you a guaranteed return but at a very minimal profit for a fair amount of work.

We recommend you DON’T do this immediately and you possibly just purchase one player who is going to do a great job for your team in the early weeks. Although the short-term benefit is a better team the long-term loss, is that you will be back to square one, so we find a much better option is to save up enough coins until buying the player or team we want won’t seriously damage our coin total left in balance and so we can still trade at all times.
